ABOUT US

The Herberger Howlers are a robotics team composed of students from the Gary K. Herberger Young Scholars Academy, an accelerated high school located at Arizona State University. We are one of two teams from our school, and we are so excited to be competing for the second year in a row!

The team has nine total members, including the captain, the administration, two programmers, and five engineers, ranging in age from thirteen to sixteen years old. We are mentored by two coaches, Steven and Clarissa Toupin. We are united by a passion for engineering, mechanics, and community service. In addition to robotics, we frequently perform outreach projects together,  spreading the values of FIRST and an enthusiasm for science throughout our community.
